I Spend most of my gaming time on XBLive. My Hitachi 47D is NOT modded. I was looking into getting a Modded Xbox with iXtreme 1.6 when it is released. I do not plan going on XBlive with the NEW Xbox360 that has iXtreme 1.6. SO What I am planning to do is Swap my HDD from my Hitachi to the offline modded xbox 360 to play the games. Now that my HDD will have the achievements of pre-released games and such will my gamer tag and/or when i plug my HDD back into my un-modded Hitachi is their chances of anything getting banned?

From people's experience Will this raise any flags of the BanHammer? I know no one really knows how Microsoft detects banning and only knows what gets people banned which is why i asked from someones experience. And maybe someone out there has been doing this.
NOTE: I do not plan on playing my backed up games on live anyways. I just want the experience the adventure of campaign

I don't know if anyone could tell you that. I want to say no, that it won't effect it. I'm pretty sure it won't, but not 100% certain about that since it is unreleased games. Best guess - no

If I were you I would mod your Hitachi and then buy an Arcade Edition for online gaming. That way you get a new warrenty.
As for sharing the HD between them, it might be a little risky going on Live with pre-release date achievements. But people do get early retail copies of games (EB and Gamestop employees for example) so I think you'd be ok.

I think it will be ok, as ppl say on this fourm that ms can find out the serial number of the console and ban it.
I expect if u did play games before they got released etc.. then as soon as u connect it to the internet it would prob most likey get banned.

Thing is why should I get banned if my console has not been modified? Like lets say i play at a friends house an early release with my HDD. then come home with my hard drive that i used on his and plug it back into mine. do u think its fare that I get banned? or am i suppose to stay away from his xbox 360 like it has some kind of contagious sickness?

I think you have misread what Tanchi has said. He has said you should be OK and not get banned with your un-modded XBOX. no-one here can give you any more reassurance than that as we don't know what techniques M$ use for their banning waves.

HI,

sorry i was unclear.

if you have 2 xboxs, one modded the other not modded, when you play a game on the modded xbox with a backup game, the console serial number as well as the timestamp when you played that game gets sent to MS.

IF MS somehow detect that that game was a backup copy they will link to the console that it was played on and ban it.

you can play on a modded xbox and then transfer HDD's to another un-modded console, that un-modded console will not get banned as the serial numbers do not not match.

this way if u go over to a freinds house and play on a modded console nad backup game, his console will get baned and not yours.

does this make sence?
