Halfway through flashing lite-on power keeps turning off

I through I would have a go with flashing my lite-on because it looked easy with jf , my mod man is away for two weeks & is going to charge $70 again,(can,t blame him thow )

I got all the way to erase lite-on & power on my 360 turns off, drive closes , this happen about four times.
I lost my nerve after that because what happens if the power goes off half way through eraseing or flashing?
Do I have to restart jf again because the drive turned off.
xbox is still working btw & now I have the dummy bin.

Make a dos boot disk with iprep. Then delete everything in it once it finishes. Download the ixtreme 1.5 package and copy everything in the DOS directory to the boot disk.
Also copy your hacked 1.51 lite_cfw.bin to it.
Boot the PC with boot disk
run l-o-eras.exe PORT
where PORT is your port number, i.e. d800
Keep running it until you get a status of FF72
then run dosflash and say "n" when it comes up to the device that the lite-on is connected to.
Pick your device from the list
select W to write your FW
select lite_cfw.bin as your bin file
watch it flash


Edit - have your AV cable plugged in while doing this. Thats why it cuts off after 5 minutes.

Yeap more then likely it is the AV cable. I unfortunately learned this lesson myself when I first started flashing drives.

So make sure the AV Cable is plugged into the unit (you don't need it plugged into a TV just the Xbox 360 itself).

You were right it was the av cable not being pluged in coursing the 360 to shut down after 5 minutes.
I,ve just flashed my first (an only) drive
