Hey guys,

I ripped a copy of a "Boston Legal" disc with DVD Fab and it was too big for the thing to even compress I guess because the final product came out to be 5.88GB. Obviously I cannot burn this to a regular DVD-R so I opened up DVD Shrink to try to Open Files and send it through that to compress it to fit, but when I get to about 99% I get the error that says:

---------------------------
DVD Shrink 3.2
---------------------------
DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Programming error - exception occurred

This is the first time something like this has ever happened and the only disc this seems to be happening to. I can rip any other movie or disc with DVD Shrink or DVD Fab and it encodes fine and burns just as well.

Computer Info: Running Vista SP1 Home Premium, 32bit, AMD, 3GB RAM.

Any help would be great.

Thanks so much guys.

Nevermind - I used DVD Cloner 5 and made a 1:1 copy of the disc and then used DVD Shrink to shrink the files after that. Not sure why it still wasn't too big, but I won't complain. Thanks anyway.
