Is it possible to load roms Wiikey?

Hey guys is it possible to load roms right to the wii using wiikey, or is this just a softmod thing?
If possible is there a guide somewhere here, spent the last 30 mins googling and checkin it out here, but to no avail.
Also is the classic remote going to be needed?

if you are using a wiikey its possible to run roms from DVDS that act like emulators that have roms on them. There are premade disks that people have made online with such dvds. Thats if you are loading from a dvd.

if you dont have a wiikey the 2nd approach is softmod using homebrew channels that have apps like snes9x , wii64, etc. Loading roms from your SD card.

thanks I think that is what I was looking for, I seen alot of "softmods" saying they came with the games on a sd card.
So one could copy the same on a dvd with a wiikey.
