Hey folks. I'm thinking about getting a 360, and the very first thing I'd do is flash it, but I figured before I did any of that I'd make sure I had everything I needed to do so, and it seems like some of the information out there is pretty dated.
1. Is there a single best SATA card to use for flashing, regardless of the 360 DVD brand?
2. Are there any DVD burners that are better for this than others, or does burn quality generally come down to the quality of the media?
Is there anything I'm forgetting before I set out doing all this? I figured I would get the SATA card, burner, and DVDs first, then get the console. I thought I'd get a used/refurb console since the store will give me a cheap warranty for when it inevitably bursts into flame and dies, and I could probably stretch that out for years. I'm hesitant to get one new since what I just described isn't dependant on the warranty sticker and would ultimately cost less than the $100 out-of-warranty repairs through MS. Does this seem like a good plan?

i have a hitachi drive in my 360 can someone give me a link or a how to or something like that on how to flash my 360 so i can play burnt games because i don't know what i need or anything i can get games or whatever i need to do it i just don't know how to do it...THANK U

Download jungleflasher .1.51 and when its opening click user guide- everything you need should be in there

When you download Jungle Flasher when you first run it click guide and it will open the tutorial.
You will need either the correct VIA SATA card or a connectivity kit.

after flashing the 360 i can play burnt games is there any down falls to flashing a 360 and thanks 4 the help ya'll

there is always the slight chance you could be banned from xbox live and you do void your warranty other than that NO plays the same and can play backups. Make sure your iso's are stealth and verified using ABGX and your chances of being banned are reduced but never a guarantee.

i don't really play online so i'm not worried about being banned but what is the best software for burning 360 and regular xbox games well game that i don't download what is the best to use

Dude, stop asking the questions. Honestly, they have been answered hundreds of times on here. We don't want to clutter this board with the same questions every single day. Just search for your answer, and you will find it.
