DVD Dumper giving me errors ret= -10056 please help

im trying to make a backup of a game and after 3or4 hours it gives me this error "could not listen for connections!(ret = -10056)"

can anyone help me to correct this problem thanks.

I'm guessing you are using the network setting to dump your data. I need some more info in order to troubleshoot your problem.
What program are you using to dump your disc?
What internet browser or application are you using to connect to the wii console?
What game are you trying to backup?
System menu?
Chipped or softmodded wii?

thanks for the reply im using firefox and the wii is softchiped. and i am just tryign to back up my zelda disk.

My only suggestion would be to try and use DVD dumper v1.2, that is if you are using dvd dumper 1.3. Many errors have been reported with 1.3 but try v1.2 with firefox. let me know how it goes. If all else fails use SD card to dump go here where I helped someone with similar problem.

having the same problem. after an 1 hr. the dvd v1.2 stop dumping. i switch over to an usb stick and same thign happened? like the original posting im having the same problem w/ v1.2

I could not get 1.3 to work. I tried and tried for 2 days until i decided to give up.. I kept getting the 10056 error even though my wifi network worked great! So i deleted 1.3 from the apps folder and installed 1.2 I got it to work in 20 minutes! The only bad part was that it took about 5.5 hours to dump Zelda. I think it was because my iphone along with my wifes iphone were on the same wifi network that my wii is hooked up to.
