USBAdvance and PSOne Games

Does anyone know if USBAdvance works with PSOne games? I installed "Need For Speed: Porsche Unleased" on a hard drive using USBExtreme, but my PS2 did not recognize that there were any games on the drive. Is this because the specific game I installed is incompatible, or are all PSOne games incompatible with USBAdvance?

Also, does HDLoader work on the slim PS2 with an external USB hard drive? I booted HDLoader on my PS2, but it said not hard drive was attached. I read somewhere that HDLoader had better compatibility.
