i got imgburn i i burned my isos onto dvd+rs (bcs my dbz tenkaichi 3 got sctrached up to bad) so i was wondering can i just use sond dvd-rs or do they have to be dvd+rs????

My understanding is that:

DVD-R are the most successful and that if you use DVD+R that they should be properly book-typed as DVD-ROM

I've been using Taiyo Yuden DVD+R without book-typing and they all work great.

Mod chipped systems are more forgiving of disk types than Soft mods and I believe that some can even accept DVD-RW disks.

I have just burned (with ImgBurn at 4x) 21 different ISO's on DVD-R with Ritek media and all were perfect. I tried a Ritek DVD+R (not book-typed) and it failed to read (DVD read error 349)
