bitlord download problems

i have bitlord installed however when i start a download from a torrent site windows media kicks in and tries to open the file and subsequently cant , i presume there is a box somewhere regarding downloading that i havnt ticked can anyone help thanks craig

You need to check bitlord for "file associations" at startup and make sure that box is checked. Alternately you can right click on such a torrent file, then choose open with then select bitlord and check the box marked always use.
WMP will now leave all files with that extension alone. This works for XP but Vista maybe slightly different.

Also, are you using a router now or a modem with a firewall, check here for either: http://www.portforward.com/english/route...routerindex.htm Could be your ISP blocking torrent's too, check this list and there are more : http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs Wonder where my other post went.
