Does the green power light turn on when you insert the battery?

Have you made a magic memory stick?

My experience has been you have to insert the MMS first then the battery, I think you have to hold L??? Cant remember at the moment I do know my psp turned on as soon as I did this automatically and before it would not do a thing.

I followed the guide and done everything, and I tried to create the Pandora battery or any other things on the MMS all I've got is the game could not be started, and I still have that green and that black screen when I insert the Pandora battery into the PSP.

What should I do now?

Ok so you now should have a working MMS if you did it right. The next step would be to turn off ur psp and take out the MMS then the Battery. Next put the MMS in then the pandora batt. and you should get the Pandora menu. This is where you can change to custom firmware. BTW What model PSP do you have?
