The movie I want to burn onto dvd is on 2 avi files both about 700,000mb. Should I convert them to mpeg seperately (using TMPGenc Plus) or should they first be joined together? I recall someone saying if using TMPGenc Author, they do not need to be joined.

to answer your questions,yes convert them to mpeg2's and no,they dont need to be joined first,try this guide...http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=dvdauthor&name=tmpegencdvdauthor
you can add as many files as you want as long as the little guage dont go into the red.
