Lost password- Although risky (I haven't monkeyed with your computer), you can with my router/wifi at least remove the router/wifi and connect directly to the internet. Delete all the netgear folders on your computer. Run crapcleaner (I'm not sure about other registry fixers) to erase those registry entries, reboot then start over with your netgear setup disk. It was for me like setting up a new account.
Can join but not host games- Also risky (I heard its a security hazard), make sure you have plug and play enabled on your computer (administrative tools-services) and for me, my routers/wifi settings website. Otherwise you have to open a bunch of ports manually.
More than one device connecting to a router/WIFI- You can try to see if they all work without a password first, if they do make sure all devices have the same password as the router/wifi. I like tkip the best, for me it's easiest to understand. Also, I'm not sure which security system it is but I've read that one or more runs at a lower speed than others. Also Also, the psp does not work with all security systems.
How to access WIFI through Places that Charge for access- There are a few places that do not have a security system on. Some libraries have free wifi, but its slow and hard to navigate (depending on where you go?). There?s a teen mobile free trial feature on the psp that lets you through some places where they have their own charge as you go access (even McDonald's charges, the free simply means you can access through them with something like teen mobile). Some newer phone deals have this included with their subscriptions.
