5.00 m33 firmware update looping

Hi, has any one had a problem updating thier firmware from 3.52 M33 v4 to 5.00 m33 using 5.00 m33 easy update, that the upate when installing loops? It get to 99% then jumps back to 80% and runs up to 99% again. I left for a couple of hours and it won't complete. The only way to stop it was to turn of the PSP and then its bricked. I managed to recover it by using the battery hack from another CFW psp, and tried again from fw 1.5 to 3.52 m33 v4. that worked fine, but the same thing happened again when I tried to jump to CFW 5 m33. Am I doing some thing wrong????
