ive read all the info on ps2 game and about using winrar to extract them to a ISO format,then reading and writing them using DVDdecrypter but my question is will my ps2 read them or will it have to be chipped
any advice would be great as i havn't got a clue

You can put a modchip in your PS2, or you can buy Swap Magic. If you just put the DVD into the PS2, it won't be recognized as a PS2 disc.

You also have to make sure you burn onto a good-quality DVD at a reasonable speed (around 4x if you've got a newer burner).
