Does anyone know why its burning @ 4x when I select 2.4x?

This actually happens allot.

The manufacture of the media can set how slow a media can be burned just as well how fast it can be burned. So even if you set it at 2.4/2.0/1.0 the media will still burn at 4X because that is what the manufacture of the media set the slowest speed at.
