hey all,

i have just installed my drive key but im having problems trying to get into the config menu ... and playing backup games

orignal games seem to work tho

can some one please help me

Right when you power on your wii, at the initial black screen with writing, press your eject button three times and then press the A button. Once you are on the main screen you should see a gamecube icon when your game would be. Click it and start it and you will be taken to the drive key config menu. You must use the reset button to navigate the menu. Quick press to move down and a long press when you are on the setting that you want to change a setting and the save settings. It should tell you to reboot your wii. Hope this helps. I didnt have a game in the wii either when I did this. I will see if my drive key plays originals in it.

My drive key plays original wii games with no problem. Maybe you have the first version of the drive key.

sorry i misread your post, my backups work fine, I did notice that sometimes the patched ones don't work. It's a hit or miss however you get your backups, goodluck.
