I see all over that X - especially the new improved version - "runs on Vista", but I'm having several problems doing that. For instance, DVD-Rebuilder, FreeCell Pro, ConvertXtoDVD (I think). I install them in the Admin (administrator) account and try to use them in my User account. DVD-RB starts but errors out when you try to do anything. FreeCell Pro can't find its settings or log files and basically doesn't work. And oh yeah, ATI Catalyst Center crashes and re-starts about half the time I switch between the accounts. All this is driving me back to the Admin account where - according to MS - one should not do non-admin things.

A common thread seems to be that the programs have trouble finding files that should easily be shared between the accounts, i.e. that are stored outside the user document areas. And I've heard "Vista's virtualization" features (you mean bugs?) mentioned as possible cause.

Can anyone shed further light on this issue?
