Thinking of changing to The Box PVR from my Eurovox as it does not have a twin tuner.

Does anyone know of theres a point? I realise the new boxes are all HD but have little interest in this. Will the firmware for the Box PVR keep being updated or am i thinking of buying a box that will soon be useless?

Im in Ireland if that makes any difference

All boxes will be fairly useless shortly so I would not bother!

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Bummer, thanks for the info gents.

May be time to set up a satellite dish.....im sure the premiership is the same in Albanian haha.

For anyone thats wondering u can still get free soccer with a sat dish and card (u can programme it yourself). Might be in a different language but hey, its free! Im not pretending to be an expert or anything, just spent hours trawling through the forums reading about it. Equipment is cheap too, so maybe not all is lost :)

Albanian free soccer gone m8 but Scandinavian still ok , in Ireland a 1metre dish or bigger will be needed and some games in English.
All is not lost YET!!!

Any idea if the Greek channels novasports will still be available on satellite?

Im guessing i will need a diablo 2.3 cam to receive these satellite channels?

Sat providers are also migrating to Nagra 3, just like cable channels are closing bit by bit. But with Sat there are obviously more providers ;)

Sorry I am not a Sat guy as such but why not go for a motorised set up rather than fixed. At least it gives you flexibilty, you can always add CAMs or even if it gets really bad subscriber cards :)
