Please could someone help. I cannot initialise the network for the homebrew channel. I can still run gamma loaders fine etc but cannot initialise networks to do updates or install preloader for instance.
I am running 3.2 E .

I get errors like -1012 . or just kicking back into menu or homebrew channel.
Also thanks for the error 2 fix - which runs under 3.2 .

I would greatly appreciate any guidance.

Do you have a WiFi Internet connection and have you configured the Wii to connect to it?

Try setting your Wii wireless network to Static IP: means set it to manual(not auto-obtain) rather than auto-obtain IP address. Set manually all the paramaters for SSID, IP, gateway, wep key and the DNS. Consult your Wii user manual how to properly set your network manually. or for short cut : Google...

Do you have the latest version(2.05b) of the Homebrew Browser installed?
The 2.05b update will keep trying to initialize the network - previous versions didn't.

I would also follow the advice of fiber32 and set a static IP address, the network will initialize quicker if it doesn't have to request an IP via DHCP.
