When I rip any DVD to my hard drive (ie:Xmen2) with Smart Ripper and DVD Decrypter all seems to go fine - however when i playback the VOB files that were ripped some of them are in another language other than english. Any suggestions?

Techee,
Bring the files over into DVDShrink and then remove the language and audio you do not want. In Shrink the files will be on the HD from the rip done by DVDDecrypter or SRipper. Make a folder on your desktop and call it Rip Movies or whateveryou want to call it. Then click backup and in preferences if you have Nero then click on the box that says burn w/ Nero. Click OK and come back later after the burn.

Thanks for the help! Is there a way to rip the DVD onto the hard drive using DVD Decrypter or SmartRipper and be able to strip away the other languages to just get the english ver of a movie? I'm asking because I just want to take the VOB files and compress them using Dr.Divx.

With the dvd-shrink you should only need to goto the options of only copy movie (I think it is under options).

Try anything once and again if you like it.
If you don't, still try it again. ;)

Thanks for your suggestions...using DVD Shrink I ripping out just the English of the movie and that did the trick. My overall objective was to then take the stripped .VOB files and compress them to a Divx file using Dr. Divx. It all worked, but the divx file did have some errors in it. When playing back the Divx file I noticed that some scenes would play back twice as well as the audio would sometimes go off a few seconds...(I only made one pass with dr. divx) would anyone have any suggestions to my further problems?
