Anyone try to burn Pinocchio yet? I have tried both DVD Shrink and DVD Fab HD 5.2.3.2 and I can only get so far until both stop. DVD Fab HD will go the farthest before it stops? ANY DV D 6.5.2.8 is running. I have tried DVD Fav HD with Any DVD both off and on. All have the latest updates and yet no luck?

So your problem is not the burning. It's with the ripping. The most likely problem may be with your disc. Try giving the disc and your laser lens a real good cleaning. If that fails, you may have a bad disc.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Edit: Try what dialysis suggested first as that very well could be the issue. He posted while I was typing, a little quicker he is :P

What is "Pathplayer" set to in DVDFab? Try enabling it if it disabled.
Did you try ripping with AnyDVD's built in ripper? Right click on the fox icon and choose "Rip Video DVD to Harddisk". If you already tried that and it didn't work then maybe try ripping movie only.
Also it is not recommended to run both programs (DVDFab and AnyDVD) at the same time as they may conflict with each other.

It would appear to be an issue with my HP laptop, I just ripped it with my desktop with no problems. So I will have to try and figure out what has happened with it. Thats the end of that .

Thanks

Glad you got the rip done at least. It may be time for a clean install of your ripping programs on the laptop.

Another thing to consider is that laptop drives aren't the best for a lot of ripping and burning. An external drive may not be a bad idea.
