I'm looking to back up a dvd since I'm worried it might not play in the future. However, I've managed to ripped it to both an .iso file and individual folders (Audio/Video_TS). I want it to play like the original, as in when I put in the dvd player, it'll go to the menus and play, etc. How should I burn it? Thanks to all and for reading my post.

First, you should change the title of your thread to something more descriptive. Or before you know it a mod will be along to close the show.
Next you can click the second link in my signature to get you well on your way to backing up those disks. Give that a read and don't hesitate to post back with future questions.

Sorry about that.. a little sleepy. Anyway, it makes no difference which format you burn to disk. The .iso image is actually just a container file and if you where to look inside it with something like WinRAR you would see the DVD files just like you have saved elsewhere and when you burn that to disk with a proper burning program it will show as files again. So it is your choice on the format, but I would recommend using ImgBurn to burn, no matter which one you choose. Hope this is more what you had in mind :) Welcome to aD, btw.

Thanks for your help, it was my first time burning to a DVD and I ended up picking the iso file because I was worried if I added folders seperately how roxio would burn it as data files or if it would be able to work as a viewable DVD. Also, I couldn't find how to add files but burn image stood out, so went that route and it played like the original. THANKS AGAIN.
