I decided to try to burn PS2 games for a laugh but I've run into a wall.
Every time I burn a game and try to play it my PS2 registers the disc as a DVD Video. I use IMGBurn, I change the book type, I use High Quality TDK discs (+ and - R although they work on these poor quality Verbatim ripoffs but they jump and lock up after no time), my Matrix Infinity v1.93 modchip is installed correctly.
Also the .iso rips are fine and so is the region (PAL).
Anyway, meister, you might want to check the DVD contents. Are you sure you're getting a 1:1 rip? Are you ripping it from your own disc, or are you getting it online? If it's the former, is that disc scratched at all? If it's the latter, check the TOC size and see if it matches up with some of the TOC listings on the internet.
Also, I don't know much about Matrix Infinity (or about modchips in general, for that matter), but is there anything you have to do in order to trick the PS2 into seeing the disc? Does your modchip work fine for anything else (like booting NTSC games, launching programs, etc.)?
