Hey guys, it's been a while since I've visited!!

Well, my brother's 360 recently broke... victim of the 2 red lights. Well, if my memory serves me right, the best fix for that (being that it is not under warranty) is to remove the heat sync's and replace the thermal paste. Sounded simple enough lol.

Well, I get the bad boy apart, just to look at the heat sync and realize I have no idea how to get it off! This is one of the newer mobo's. It has the heat sync beneath the DVD drive, the main sync above the GPU, and then the copper tubing which raises up to another small heat sync.

I don't know for sure how to take it off, though I believe I can just carefully pry the sync's off of the x-clamp (?).

Any and all help greatly appreciated!!!

Regards

Budro
