Just got these two today and no problems whatsoever with the newest ANYDVD and CLONEDVD. I know that I'm early (I usually am) but giving the heads up for SMOOTH SAILING.
Cheers!!

Well, unless you have forbidden Endo from using his previous "connections", them I am sure he will have them before the rest of us as well.

Hi ferg,
endo has officially "retired" from servicing video store ladies. He is now doing implantology exclusively. The video store ladies are still his friends, but on a more business like level. He still get favors from them (or is it the other way around?).

Never thought i'd see the day that Endo retired from the servicing business. ;)
Glad to know there aren't any problems with those two as both are on my list to acquire.

I was under the impression that implantology and "servicing business" was the same thing.

Ah i see now. However i don't see the relevance (in this thread) of movies from dodgy guys at carboot stalls with huge sports bags full of dodgy copies...
edit- i see what mskimmy is aluding to now, just checked and Lycans isn't out until 12th May in CA/US and 18th May here in RipOff Britain. I guess i'd better start checking release dates when the new movie threads appear in future... am just so used to loads of movies being released elsewhere much earlier than here in the UK.

SORRY TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE MSKIMMY... BUT NEITHER OF THESE ARE BOOTLEGS. OFFICIAL COPIES AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME WELL THAT'S YOUR OWN PROBLEM. I N E V E R WOULD POST ABOUT A BOOTLEGGED COPY... OR EVEN THINK OF WATCHING. YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE LOTS OF EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.
CHEERS

Yeah maybe where you come from kimmy. I happen to own a video store and we got these in on the 17th of March. We also had The Dark Knight, Pineapple Express, Quantum of Solace and NUMEROUS other OFFICIAL (NON FLEA MARKET) copies in up to two months early. You should really think before you make your assumptions... makes you look stupid in the long run.
OWNED

311814175 - not a good way to speak to people. Plus in my humble opinion i think posting about movies that you've got months early (video shop owner or not) isn't the wisest of choices. Abuse of that poor CAPS LOCK button doesn't change that..

What version of the two are you using? I heard that DVDFabPlatinum will work for this title as well.
Cheers!

You mean he gets money instead of flicks?
My you have corrupted the poor lad beyond all belief.
Was able to get ahold of a copy of Bedtime stories and it backs up well with AnyDVD 6.5.2.8. Minivan here it comes.

Are you running the latest version of AnyDVD? If so try ripping to your HDD with AnyDVD alone. Just right click on the fox head and then "Rip Video DVD to Harddisk."

I did this one successfully (a second time) with AnyDVD 6.5.3.1 + Clone 2.9.2.2 if that helps at all... get those and you should be having no problems whatsoever.
Cheers!!

Yeah, Leave it to Disney to have the best code money can buy. I think it's funny that they must waste so much time and effort trying to "outsmart" the pirate when all the pirates "learn" in a matter of months, how to get around it.
You'd think the makers of AnyDVD and others like him (or her) get all excited when they get the newest attempt to foil us from Disney and others...
Like, laughin' at the "attempt" and I can almost envision the boardroom discussion over copywrites...
"We can make it un-copyable for about a month and the cost is somewhere around a hundred and fifty thousand..."
And I honestly think that should I ever be responsible for creating a movie (or script for that matter), I'd be giving it away, "legs wide open" so to speak. I mean, why try so hard to keep my precious movie from being stolen, why spend the time and energy when I could surely spend that time and energy in a more efficent way. Making another movie for instance.
And why worry about how much I'm going to get paid, surely it'll be enough for me and my kids won't it?
I mean, really, won't there always be poor people out there who don't have computers (or access to them), won't there be people in Africa without tv's and DVD players?
Can't I just fly over there with my Magnavox and generator and presto, charge the people thirty dollars (or two buckets of brown water and a goat) to see it?
If it's a great movie and everybody wants to see it, won't they pay? I mean, really, won't someone pay?
If I go to Mexico with my Magnavox and generator, I'm pretty sure I could charge three bags of coke and a child under the age of ten, and make a killing...No?
Seems to me like all our drama is about greed and seems (also) that the greediest one out there is Mr Disney. Kind of a shame I think...
Interesting side note: Not once have I come across a porno with any security code on it. Like, those people are just happy to "give it away". What's their secret?
