currently i my wii is 3.2u/homebrew/softmii 2.1.1 i have a huge issue... my dvd drive has stopped working i spoke with nintendo they have no problem with fixing it but i have hombrew and and all the special things on it what can i do to return my system to the way it was could i use the ios downgrader 1.2 to move it up to 3.3u but i also have the preloader i know that does change the firm ware... help please.... thank you

Just send it back. They won't care if you have HBC on it. Worst case they will revert it back to factory settings and you'll have to do the hack again, but that's it. People have sent consoles back with chips in them, they just remove the chip and send it back to you in an anti-static bag and you have to reinstall it again, but they don't care, they'll still fix it.

its true i sent mine back with homebrew on it a back up game stuck in the drive they replaced the drive took out the game put it in a bag and restored the wii to factory settings and even backed up my game save,s 4 me before they formated the system only nintendo thats why i love them lol
