Although neither company has confirmed or denied the report, Manager-Magazin.de is writing that Sony is planning to buyout Ericsson's 50 percent stake of the Sony Ericsson mobile manufacturing joint venture. I've always bought Sony Ericssons and I think the key problem is that one of the key phone lines the K700>K750>k800 has been ruined by the pathetic K850 which has sold in very low numbers compared to its predecessors, when and if the K900/a decent touch phone/a pretty phone that's poorly made *cough* Samsung *cough* is rolled out the company might make up for its current money troubles so Sony should hang on before potentially loosing even more money

If they want to suceed Sony Ericcson must be freedom friendly i mean not propietary for example the use of mini usb and sd card,micro sd card like the rest of the competition.I think this can help

All this is happening when my cousin and i are getting new sony erricson phones i hope all in all if this goes through the phone does not loose its quality because i am realativly new to this phone manufacturer after the crappy year i have had with my Nokia N95. I will not go into details about my nokia experience cause its in my blogs for all to read. I just hope it all works out for the best for the two companies.
