I'm the guy who's mom jammed his PS2's disc tray, causing it not to work. Me and my dad fixed it, but it stopped reading discs.

I came here looking for help, and was linked to two websites: RichsPSXParts and FixMyPlaystation. RPSXP didn't answer my email, so I tried FMP. FMP was a very supportive website that emailed back quickly and was very to the point.

HOWEVER, as good as their support is, they were unable to fix my PS2. Apparently, my modchip died.

Stupid TeamModders ripped me off

I wonder if I can get my PS2 to read discs again by removing the modchip. Maybe even getting a new one.
