I would first update to 5.00m33-6 it works great with it then just go into the root of your memory stick click on PSP, then GAME and drage the snes folder right into it and your good to go

Tbh with you i have used every cfw thats been released to date and i ran snes9x flawlessly on all of them.....until i updated to 5.00 m33 that is (i had to try numerous configs in recovery and every folder i could find as it just wouldnt run from the folder it was originally in). The best cfw to run it in is 3.71 m33 but thats just my opinion. Hope this helps
If it aint broke....mod it! ;)

5.00M33-6 has an option in recovery mode to speed up roms if that helps its a fix from earlier CFW speed up MS access by default its set to never you should try always seting and exit the recovery console and try that, worked or me

First shut off your psp completely (no sleep mode) then hold R and turn on your psp, it will take you to the M33 recovery menu, then the second option is "Configuration" hit that then the bottom option is the "speed up your MS access" option. hit that to always and exit the recovery menu. Im sure you probably know how to access recovery menu but thought I would throw it in just incase

okay i did what you told me to do about going into recovery mode and went to the configuration option like you told me but the speed up ms acess does not come out the only things that come out are
skip sony logo
hide corurupt icons
game folder homebrew
autorun program
umd mode
fake region
use vsh menu
xmb usb device
use m33 network update
hide PICO.PNG and PIC1.PNG in game menu
thats the menu that pops out when i select configuration
mr. teto thanks you

try upgrading to 4.01M33, then 5.00M33 and through the small updates -2, -4, -6 to get to 5.00M33-6 i used a pandora battery and a MMS Magic Memory stick to do it.

Ok now what I need is what emulators are you running? what roms are slow? I know the daedalus still runs a little slow unless you turn the sound off (its turned off by default for this purpose) Where did you get your emulators from? I know for sure that the snes, nesterj, and pico emulators from shaggyZE all run perfect with 5.00m33-6 on a phat psp 1000, not a single rom so far I have played that is slow in the least bit and I have over 700 roms for snes alone.

also in the recovery console you will notice an option to set your psp to do the M33 updates, if you update your psp from the main menu scroll over to the top left option you can get the latest M33 installed online via your psp

okay so far im only running one emulator because im new to all of this and its snes9xtyl i got it from a website called doperoms.com and the rom that im having the problem the most with is killer instinct it runs it really slow but if i change the frame skip settings on it it plays it at a decent speed but not like it supposed to like it plays all my other roms good and clean
oh and thanks alot for the update info i did it and it helped alot because it clears up alot and dosent take so long to load so now i have 5.00m33-6
were did you say you got your emulators so i could just get them from there because if there running good for maybe thats what i need to do

Just find a thread that ShaggyZE has posted on and then click on his emu pack link in his signature you need high speed internet as it is a 12 part download and about 2gb total but well worth it as you dont have to extract everything to your ms
