A laptop? Sorry mate, you won't find a sata card for a laptop. First of all, there is no space inside a laptop left and secondly, a laptop doesn't have the plugs required.

Yes he can. It's already been tested and confirmed that you can flash with a laptop. As where you can buy the card at best guess would be to google it.

I know it can be done cause a lot of ppl have done it. Just cant seem to find one in stock anywhere lol. I searched google for awhile and nothing. Than i ran into this forum where a guy was talking about uniata. He told me to google them so i did but it seems like there website is done. Heres the link, can you access it???

He isnt looking for a PCI card but a PCMCIA card which is for laptops.

from what i have been reading, you might have to wait until the ixtreme 1.6 is available so you can get windows to see the drive via a pcmcia, then you should be able to use jungleflasher to flash. only ones working are silicon image but only for hitachis. this one guy had success with a sammy, but he needed the 0800 because DOS cannot see the pcmcia.
