ive got a modded 360, and i was wondering if i get an update from xbl if it will render my xbox non-operational. i think its modded with the new ixtreme, and it already has the new dashboard. what im tyring to do is play games online but, its says there is an update needed to play this game. im playing cod waw and madden 09. so my question is if i let xbl update my console for these games, will it screw up my xbox?

yeah.. try the 360 forums, and please come up with a better title.

xbl update.. will possibly kill it.. or get you banned.. or both.. or neither. Who knows?.. only M$
