NTI CD Maker Gold Errors

I have Windows 98 and after I install the software and restart, I get errors about the msvcrt.dll. So I replace the file and it still gives me the error about msvcrt.dll. I then used a different drive to install a fresh copy of Windows and then carried on with installing NTI CD Maker again. Low and behold, the same darn error. Can someone please help me in this frustrating situation. Thanks.
