like everyone here i want a perfect copy of a movie !

ain't gonna happen.

so just wondered as pal is a better resolution to ntsc, that maybe if a long movie in pal has a much larger size than the same movie in an ntsc format (going by same movie, same edition etc..)

the ntsc size should be slightly lower due to the resolution being lower, not sure if this is correct but please forward any experiences of ripping both ntsc & pal versions of the same movie (version).

so if the movie size is smaller then it wouldn't need to be shrunk as much. keeping it closer to the original copy and a cleaner transfer.

i did cast away on both pal & ntsc using dvd2one and ntsc was a better result even with the extra dts soundtrack.

cheers.
