Cant clip talismoon whisper fan into place

Hi guys,
i disassembled the 360 and its oem fan.
i put the talismoon fan in diagonally and push it back however the little plastic clips on the fan wont grip the little hole on the metal case that holds the fan in place.
what do i do? i have tried pushing the metal fan holder down but it still wont grip the clips and the fan keeps on pushing it self out again.

any help is much appreciated,

nvermind guys.
i just bent the metal holder with some plyers and it seems to hold the fan nicely now.
