i know the answer is probably no but my friend had an xbox chipped with tons of backups but the entire system got fryed hes thinkin about gettin a new one and was wonderin if the new one would be able to read backup games without a chip? i mean isnt the chip just used to change the bios and be able to transfer files or is it also for playing backups? thanks
