BenQ turned off while flashing

yeah so i was flashing a customers BenQ VAD6038 drive in jungle flasher and everything was going fine, my computer didnt even freeze (AMAZING) but during the write process, the xbox turned itself off v_v....

so.... it freezes my comp so i cant use windows now

dosflash under dos will work but when it asks me which drive to flash, all of the sudden my keyboard stops working (ive tried usb AND ps/2)

i cant use the v1.51 360 modification disc cause my via chipset isnt supported by it



what do i do?

You can remember to plug in the AV cable next time you use a 360 to power the drive.

And it's hard to brick a BENQ. Since you have everything already, use dosflash 1.3 (older but might not lockup) to erase and write. It shouldn't lock up your PC in dos if you turn the drive power on while sitting at the A:> prompt.

The commands are different though on dosflash 1.3.. Read the read-me file before erasing,writing.

unfortunatly, dosflash 1.3 locks up aswell as the 1.7 i was using before

also the PC istelf doesnt lock up, i can still see the cursor flashing away, its just that the program itself wont respond

weird thing about it is, i never have to unlock the flash chip, no magic 28 or anything,

any ideas?

thanks a bunch! ^^ well i learned something new today (how to use a manual line) and everything seems good all banks gave the OK! =]

Yup worked fine, tested it and worked, if you wouldnt have pointed me to the readme i wouldnt have gotten it =P
