Hello everyone,

I have a software modded xbox 360 and tried to play it on xbox live the other day. When i tried to connect it informed me that a new console firmware update is available and that if i wish to play online i must download and install the update.

I was just wondering if i downloaded the Software update for my xbox, will it override or erase my current softmod that i have?

I also received the same prompt to update the firmware but doesn't allow me to update it. It keeps telling me to make sure the disc is cleaned properly. Any ideas? TIA.
