So I have a Halo 3 Edition 360 and one the HDMI port stop giving a video output. I had it hooked up to my lcd monitor Via and HDMI to DVI cable. Then one day I unplugged it took up stairs to hook up to my TV upstairs and connected it using an HDMI cable I had and nothing. At first I thought it was the cable so I went out and bought a new one and nothing. So I took back down stairs hooked it back up to my LCD monitor and still no out put. I have had no other issues with my 360. But I can't get the HDMI to work. I have read that this has happened to others before and was told that my video output needs to be reset? Anyone know if that is true is this a common problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? Or can some please direct me in the right direction on how to fix this? This 360 is my primary DVD player and is hooked up to my plasma and I would like to use my HDMI. Can anyone offer me a solution please I have looked around and seems others have had this issue also but I couldn't find a solution.

i can tell you how to reset your video settings, maybe someway they where put on a setting your moniters wont work with.
to reset the video settings first make sure power is off then turn on your console with the menu button on the controler, then immediately push and hold the y button and the right triger button untill the console reboots with video.
this takes video settings back to factory default.
