Hi I Have A 5.03 OFW PSP and I talked to one of the guys at toosmatguys.com/forums and he said to try mr. dude's pandora gui but i looked around and you have to have 2 psps and 1 with CFW but i only have 1 OFW PSP so which one should i use? i want a program that makesa MMS and a Pandora and You can change the Pandora back into regular mode from service. thanks.

you can't. your only choices is to hardmod or to buy a ready made pandora's battery.

No I'm sure there is a program that does that google it. you will be sadly dissiapointed(excuse the spelling). i know for sure there is a couple and even said 1 in my first message!

i know. i've been in the scene for the past 2 years. and there is no program that will work on OFFICIAL firmware.
you MUST HAVE a custom firmware psp to softmod. all fats and the first issued slims only.
how can you flash the battery when the psp is on official firmware? you can't because the installer will be running off the psp, and not the computer. and since official firmware won't run unsigned code, that equals no softmod.

Well, Are You Sure? Because My Friend does have a 3.04 OE/A CFW but i don't think he'll let me "softmod" his batt.i only have one psp so is there something that can get it to CFW because i relly don't want to buy one or touch the inside of the batt. because i'm afraid i'll do something wrong. so are you really sure there is not one because i want to get CFW for cool programs and stuff that are homebrew.

if your friend is too stingy, then you're stuck either buying or hardmodding. NO OTHER WAY.
and depending if the psp had 4.01 or higher out of the box, you may not even be able to get custom firmware.
all fats = OK
slim with 3.60-3.95 OFW out of box = OK
slim with 4.01+ and all 3000 series = no custom firmware.

um the 4.01 thing? well, i got this 2000 in 2007 and does that have to do something with the motherboard? because i dont have tao82 .

if it was 4.01+ out of the box, 9/10 chance it's an unflashable v3.

how can you tell vX from vX? rephrase that is there things that you can see that tells you which motherboard you have because i forgot. also, does me saying a 2007 star wars pak psp help?

If it is the Star Wars Battlefront with the Darth Vader on the back of the PSP, then you are good, you can mod it. As far as the battery goes, I know for the Fat PSP there was a plugin that could enable a Pandora to work like a regular but only for the fat. If you want to modify your without changing it to a Pandora, what I recommend is a hybrid battery, they are fairly cheap and work great. Head on over to Deal Extreme on this link http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15153 and get this battery. I have this one and the similar one for my other Fat PSP (I have both)and they work great. Basically, the battery is a Pandora but when you plug it in, it is actually a regular battery. On the back of the battery, there is a button and some led lights. You hold down the button until the leds start moving in a sequence. Once you have done this, it it now in Pandora mode. Once you are done, you can press on the same button and convert it back automatically to a regular battery. You just have to take the battery out every time you switch from one mode to another. The only two drawbacks are shipping from Deal Extreme is about 2 weeks and the battery does not last as long after a charge compared to the official battery

you can also use several programs that make the magic memory sticks like psp pandora deluxe to inject IPL onto your memory sticks so that they can boot into the xmb/vsh like a normal battery without changeing it back and forth with homebrew like hellcat's pandora installer and works for the slim and phat.

He Formatted It (And I Think I Already Said This, But What The Heck?) Already And Has 3.04 OE/A Which Is Good Because It Is CFW. you need to put hellcat's pandora installer on a magic memory stick with the program psp pandora deluxe you will need to download a few official firmwares in my signature to install it fully, then you need a phat psp battery though some slim battery's can be soft modded to, incase you friend doesn't want you to convert his even though if you inject IPL on the memory sticks you can use pandora battery's like normal, one you run hell cats to make the pandora battery on his psp with cfw you can use your new battery and your mms from psp pandora deluxe to mod other psp's

devhook is obsolete you'll want the latest 5.00 m33-6 and if you want to use several firmwares like 1.50 you can install time machine to switch between m33 firmwares or 1.50 if your on slim or use LEDA instead, and if you on phat you can use the 1.50 add on so yea dev hook is obsolete

1)Get PSPandora Deluxe v3.1(Done) And Borrow CFW PSP From Friend To Softmod It
2)Softmod The CFW PSP
3)Put New Pandora And MMS In Slim
4)Get 1.5 With Time Machine Download. Also, A Whole Bunch Of M33 CFWs
To Keep The 1.5 OFW From Being Lonely
5)Have Fun!!!!!

dunno about tvuplayer or if its even updated or useable anymore really but as for psptube and remotejoy they work with all the firmwares and you can even get the plugin custom firmware extender as it incorporates remotejoy and several other good plugins so running 5.00 m33-6 will be fine for those.
