My wii is a 3.3u and I use the wii gators gamma channel for everything and it worked fine before. But lately The backups I have burned and put in my wii aren't working.I even converted them to ntsc. When I put the game in and use the backup-loader channel it just has a small lizard in the left corner and the title yet no options after I press 1 and hold it to enable the forcentsc option. Should I downgrade to a 3.2u? Or any other fixes?

Do a google search for IOS 38, 53 and 55 (NOT ISO).
Instead of manually installing those IOS files I would recommend upgrading your system to 3.4U then perform the fix (if wad/cIOS files are blocked) then go HERE and follow this guide to reinstall the latest cIOS36_rev8 WiiGator 0.3 Gamma (#002 fix) plus cMIOS for GameCube support.
I was on 3.3U first ver and updated to 3.4U firmware and didn't have to perform the fix. The instillation of WAD/cIOS files still worked.
