well if its only few months from going n2 to n3 then why are they still sending out N2 cards. I think its going to be very long time before you see n3 come into effect.

If you are on cable the Kryptview will work there no problem if you are on MMDS it wont work on that
At the present time Chorus has not been effected in any way with the problems that dublin are having
as for the n2 problem if they are all ready sending out the 250,000 cards they have already got which are all n2
so in saying it will be 2 /3 mts before shift up to n3 this would be a slight exaggeration to put it mildly no one would be able to say how long it would be it is after taking them this long to get these cards how long would it be to get another 250,000 more cards ????
i agree fergusrb, its hard 2 put time on this, and yes ch8rus mmds is not affected yet, as i have mmds, but at the end of the day, nagra3 is coming and when changeover is complete no box will work on it. well only the hackers no what lies ahead.
when i said 1 or 2 months i was goin by wat had been said on another post if these cards there sendin out are nag2 wat the point? it has been cracked why not give out nag3 cards?
It may be down to that some of the boxes cannot handle n3 and thats why N2 cards are sent out as well. Also dont forget the KV fix has only came out few days ago and N2 cards have been going out for good few weeks now.
thats wat am sayin so they seen they were nag2 cards and cracked them krptiview was 1st to get new software at the start of december maybe the rest will follow?

prob because at the time of the order put in for the 250,000 cards it was not cracked and what where they going to do with 250,000 cards then wait god knows how long for more
If they even knock of a few hundred boxes they will be happy but i would say it will be a lot more than that
just remember not all boxes are going to be fixed i would say if they are going to fix it will be only the latest boxes sold within the last year or so

I have a starview 1 and it's still going after 2+ years.Living in Cork getting Chrous through cable. Put in a few new usb 4's last week or so,one seems to be going haywire at the moment,still on this site trying to get it sorted. About the rollover to N3,when I bought my first box it was only supposed to last a few months because they were scrambling all signals. Scramble went out.codes followed. I really believe that when it does cross over,which mightn't happen for 6 months,might be next week,somebody somewhere is going to have an answer. There is no way on earth I'm ever paying for cable and the likes ever again! So hackers,get hacking!
