my slim ps2 plays the blu backs fine but when i put the silver games in it will read them but wont playthem any advice please

What version PS2 do you have?

Are these CD or DVD games.

Did you try cleaning the laser.

i guess dvd games like medal of honor nd stuff how do u clean a lens its the 70000 series slimline

Ok to clean the laser, you need a q-tip and rubbing alcohol

Dip the q-tip in the rubbing alcohol, but not so its dripping.
Carefully yet firmly rub the lens in a circular motion for about 30 secs.
Then using a dry q-tip, dry off the lens in the same circular motion.
