analogstick problems plz if you can help

well my analog stick is fine but the points where the stick connects to the motherbord im guessing are messed up beacuse when ever i go into sompthing that allows the use of the analogstick(I.E the browser or eney game) it stays trying to go up-left even after i replaced the analogstick so i am guessing that the points where the stick connects to the motherbord are what is messed up and is there a way to reset them? eney help would be nice thank you muchly :)

Did you swap over the tiny piece of clear rubber on the contacts(this is the contact connector) if you didn't it should still be attached to the old one. If you have lost it then you will have to search specialist repair shops and if you can find one this bit will cost about 5 times as much as the joystick.

well like i was saying i dont thank it is in the joystick cu if i take the faceplate off the joystick is still stuck at up-left and wont move from that point even if i make it go to another spot it still goes to the up-left spot and when i changed the joystick i had just went ahead and changed the faceplate witch had allready had a working joystick in it well thank you but im still at a loss here i only have one motherbord lolz

Yes you swapped the joystick - however, the symptoms you have suggest NO joystick is connected. So what I was pointing to was on the old joystick there was a tiny strip of rubber - this is the part that makes contact with the motherboard. If you took out the old joystick and just put in the new - IT WONT WORK. You have to remove this small rubber strip from over the contacts from the old one and put it on to the new joystick before fitting it. Otherwise the joystick is not connecting with anything and will not work (hence the moving problem) This small rubber piece is a conductive strip to ensure the contacts work.

Did you change over this piece of rubber??

i thought i had but i thank i lost it lolz but i orderd a new one for like $10 and your right ther expensive as hell but im guessing all it takes is common cents to put it in there lolz well thankz dude

Glad you are getting it sorted, the rubber just fits over the contacts - it lightly clips in to 4 tiny clips to hold it there.
