okay so I got everything right with the install including the bios clip ribbon being inserted the opposite way from the others. I loaded toxic OS cuz I have the pro chip. everything worked fine and once the firmware loaded I shut the system off. I left the house and came back 3 hours later and my ps2 would no longer turn on.. no power at all. I bought a new power supply and I'm waiting on a new eject cable cuz I ripped my old one. Anyways. I taped the chip down to the board just like the guide said. Anyone have any ideas what happened to my ps2? when I try the new power supply if it doesn't work I'm then going to try to replace the emotion fuse on the mobo and if that doesn't work I'm out of ideas.. maybe by dsp or bios chip is fried.. anyways any suggestions would be sweet cuz I've already put a lot of money into this project. If all everything fails I'm just going to get a ps2 slim and get a solder version of the dms4 se pro edition. thanks for any replies I receive ahead of time.
