Playstation 2 problem.

Umm. the Dc in 8.5v thing on the back part of the playstation 2 slim is broken. It is the yellow piece. If anyone can help me as to were i can get that part and how i can fix it, it will be great.thank you.

The easiest source is probably to buy a smashed/scrap one off ebay.

Learn to solder.. you will need the skills to solder the new socket without making a complete brick of the board. Might be easier to find somebody who is skilled with an iron/electronics in general and ask them for help.

If you were to bring the scrap board with the working socket.. and the board with the broken one I would do it for you for nothing.. it would only take me 2 minutes. Just as long as there isn't a hour of strip and reassemble involved most neighbourhood radio hams will help out.. we are like that XD
