No sound on DVD burnt

Hi All.

Iv been trying to burn a dvd, when I downloaded the file it contains the Video TS files and I have burnt these to a disc as i would normally but im not getting any sound.

Iv burnt these types before without a problem but for some reason this time it hasn't got sound.

Im using Nero 7.

What type of audio is in the files that are on your HDD?

There is no Audio TS it's just the Video TS.

I have burnt this before without the Audio TS and it worked with sound so thats the confusion

The audio is in the VOB files. Open your files with DVD Shrink. If you can't, then they are not DVD compliant files.

or:

1. downloaded files might not have the audio in it! So what you thought had audio might not have and when burned you DON'T HAVE AUDIO.

2. Or..... your downloaded DVD might be DTS audio and you don't have the encoder for listening to DTS audio on your computer or your DVD player!

3. Or..... Your downloaded DVD has different audio channels and you need to hit the AUDIO button on your remote to get to the correct audio channel of your burned DVD!

there may be other issues, but these are the most common. wish you luck and welcome to Afterdawn.
