Lite-on DVD replacement help

My 2007 360 went in for repairs and came back with a 2008 Lite-on DG-16D2S DVD. The dvd now only intermittantly will spin and read the game. I think my solution is to replace the dvd but cant find this replacement. any suggestions for a novice

I had the same issue with a BenQ drive. I would put a game in (original or back-up) and it would spin for just a second and stop. I did a POT tweak on the laser and now my games boot up. I'd say try a POT tweak before you go about replacing the drive. And if you do replace the drive, go with another Lite-ON.

Tried the POT tweek, worked a couple times now doesn't recognise any disk. I'll try again tomorrow. Where can I get a new Lite-on DVD?
