Just bought a used PSP SLIM 2000. The guy said it was modded (don't know the version). But said that his cousin updated the PSP software when playing the UMD game. Now, I've tried running the Magic memory stick and Pandora's battery but i get "This game cannot be started. The data is corrupted." when i try to run the Pandora's Battery Creator. Is there anything I can do? I appreciate any help that the community gives.

when his cousin updated with the UMD game it went back to being official firmware and your getting the "game cannot be started" message because it can't run unsigned code because its no longer modded, you need to put in the magic memory stick, then hold the left shoulder button when putting in the pandora battery to mod it again

oK...thanks for the help...just need a bit more.
Made my son's PHAT battery a Pandora. Now when I put the PHAT Pandora in my slim I just get a black (blank) screen with the green power button on. Sorry to bother with such a fundamental question but I really would like to get this thing reset. Is there any guide that you can point me to for uninstalling or "re-modding" a PSP with a Sony update done over the mod?
