which pin molex adapter are you refering too? cirlcle it.

i think he means the black cable going into the molex on the adapter. would allow you to have a longer power cable than the standard 5-10 inches usually found in most desktops. unfortunately i do not know. try newegg?

Couldn't you just use the 4-pin molex that is inside the pc?

also... most usb to sata converters come with an external power supply that mimics the molex he is referring to. It plugs into the wall and rectifies output to 12v and 5v like that plug. The minispy comes with one if I am not mistaken. Didnt that device come with one?
