I did a cold cathode mod on my 360 and now I can't get the XBOX 360 Media Remote (By Microsoft) to work now. I have taken the entire thing apart again to check for any loose soldering connections and I can't seem to find any. I'll check fuses with a multimeter once I get it back from my friend. I know the remote works fine because it still turns on the TV. Is this a known problem? Is there a specific fuse or steps that I should be doing to get my IR sensor to work again?

No but I did turn on my 360 without the DVD drive plugged in and it turned on fine, didn't give me any error code. That is wierd.
